Singapore's electronic gantries at the airport are the worst. So slow that it's faster queuing up for the custom instead. Singapore should learn from Australia or China.
It's not surprising since the survey consists of the feedback from expats working in Spore i.e. from 1st world. We. are talking about expats and not the cheap FT that are from Philippines, India, china, ....
Companies take care of their expat staff. They are well paid allowances that provide them with a car, housing, school allowance for kids, ... etc. Their kids go to international schools so avoid many of the problems that locals face.
The expats I know either drive or take cabs, so do not experience the problems of train breakdowns. Expats also receive preferential treatment from the authorities compared to locals who will probably be fined or jailed for any misdemeanours.
