Yes , basically you can poo and pee anywhere in India. That’s the beauty of this country. You will probably encounter masses of people shitting on streets* in the morning. Maybe a group of 30 or more pooing in formed nice lines.
Honestly I do enjoy the privilege of pooing or peeing anywhere you like. It is back to our basic animal instinct. We should not hold the calls of nature even for a minute in our lives.* Something that other civilized world has long forgotten.
Much has been said about this from travelers but it is hard to imagine it without a photo. Here is a photo of friends enjoying pooing and chatting together on a lovely morning.
However, while enjoying this privilege in India. Peeing on this seems dirty river nearly cost me 2000 rupee (near 35 usd ).
Yes! The police asked me over and told me the river is holy. And yes they do pray here. I managed to look stupid and funny and got me out of the fine.
So lesson learned,* becareful pooing or peeing on what it seems like a
rubbish dump cause it maybe a holy place in India. Look properly before doing your business especially when the police is behind you.
