was told by the wifey that the free shuttle bus is no more operating fr clementi interchange to turf city. presumably, the shops there are closed. what's going to happen there?

does anyone know where the NORTHERN INDIAN stall there is being shifted to? the fish-head claypot curry is the one i miss. at $20 a whole fish-head with lots of brinjals, lady's fingers, long-beans and etc, it's worth the price especially when they claim that NO MSG or COCONUT MILK is used. very friendly service and willing to packet for u the leftover curry gravy to use as dip for roti pratas which could be bought at GIANT.

it's a lovely place to wine, dine and shop cos of ample FREE parking. too bad it's gone so soon :(

sure would also miss having dim sum there at AH YAT's with my li'l brother leetahsar. there are so many varieties there at very economical pircies. especially love the fresh tien lor or japanese water snails special priced at only $4.80 for a bowl of about a dozen. the gravy was naturally sweet. half priced seafood are a bonus! ever ordered a sri lankan crab cooked in their latest recipe of cheesy pumpkin sauce. it went down very well with the deep-fried mantou. all for the price of less than $20. can u imagine that!

although the monster alaskan crab there costs $168 (after 50% discount), it would be more economical to order a set menu for 10 pax which comes with roasted suckling pig - all in for about $500. to me, it's well worth it cos they also give us a free ktv room.
