Breaking the shackles that PAP has foisted on the opposition will draw more able men and women into politics, resulting in more creative ideas for S'pore.

People want the ideas first not the protests. The fact is your Chee can't even provide an idea for a constituency and don't start blaming all their failures on the PAP.

In other countries, oppositions can comment on the financial crisis. SDP? They instead use the financial crisis to draw up a link to Singapore's corruption. is that going to improve the livelihood of the people?

Facts are facts. LKY has used repressive tactics against the opposition. Peaceful protest is just one of the means to an end, to end repression by PAP.

Th energy of protests could be used to comment constructively on issues such as the financial situation which people want to hear.

There are many dimensions to politics. SDP, WP, SPP are sticking to what they believe is best for their parties.

This is the response opposition parties should make, not just protesting and not just sitting in parliament and waiting for the next election

There are already many people doing it. You can read all you want. Every political party has to strategise for its own party.
