Tobacco tax really very very high , but you know, it is good becos they say so-called govt want to help people not to smoke .
So very very expensive cigarettes can help smokers to quit ?
So this is the motive---expensive tobacco will help smokers to save !

Nicotin is veri additive, if you stuck, most people cannot tahan don’t smoke. Only a few free them from nicotin permanently like me….17 years no touch PAP cigaretters !
So a few wise people say that govt know smokers cannot quit but govt want to show that they are good humans to public , then they pretend to up the tax to deter people smoking but at the same time, they can earn some more, and more.
When people ask why so expensive, they say good to deter ! Can really deter?
ITE colleges outside will prove expensive cigaretters still go many patrons.
So this is sincerity or hypocrisy ? You draw your mental answer !
Same like gambling, the present govt keep telling people gambling at casinos no good can destroy life, family , sure loose but two not one are open in sinkapore.
So you open casinos becos you want GDP at the expense of the tiny island ? GDP at all all all costs, not tragic huh?
These ivory people say one thing and do another thing----casinos no good but still approve to open, and then later say no one force you there what.
