What hobbies in Singapore have become status signals?

General

I'm not talking about golfing and country clubs. I'm interested in those hobbies that don't just scream "I'm so rich" - those that also signal personality, social circle, taste, ambition, and lifestyle all at once.

Bouldering might be one example: physically active, usually urban, often done with friends, not too expensive but not completely free, easily understood.

What activities do you think fit into this "quiet status" category?

Bouldering is a hobby for the hoi polloi whom you see at certain shopping malls and at the Kallang Wave Mall. It is not high SES at all.
