Why the sudden turnaround, when on Sunday, he still implied that it was business as usual, talking about trade-offs ad nauseum.
Did papa talk to him? Or internally, another group got him to admit shortcomings and start fixing them?
Or more unpleasant news coming, and he is preparing/softening the ground, hoping that a contrite PM will have some sympathy.
Oops, forgot - they want want our sympathy and they don't want our sympathy votes.

They are the highest paid ministers in the world. So, this is inexcusable.

20/20 foresight needed? That's baloney. They know the capacity of the infrastructure. But they just choose to ignore it. Bring in the millions of foreigners and expect sinkees to put up with it. It is a typical chinaman business approach ...do it on the cheap. When caught, just act blur.

Online, direct and pointed questions are asked. What's stopping the PAP from answering those questions with facts? It can't. And it knows that it can't spin as they will be found out.
