The Government cannot "eliminate" the property cycle, but it "can try to keep bubbles less bubbly", National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

He made the comment when referring to an International New York Times article on the housing crash in Ireland, where prices have dropped by 50 per cent since the peak in 2007.

Mr Khaw noted that a housing bubble and "its inevitable bust" would bring "huge misery to many". While the Government cannot get rid of this cycle, it can try to contain the "bubbles". "This means taking away the punch bowl when the party is getting hot, much to the unhappiness of sellers and developers. But this is the right thing to do," he concluded.

The property bubble will never burst. Just go ahead and purchase that flat or apartment of your dread.
Our world class Government will never never never allow the property market to dive. So property is still
the number one investment in Singapore.

Those who had bought properties in the past are now happily retired with millions of hot crispy cash in their banks.
Those who had missed the golden opportunities are grieving and languishing, regretting and complaining.

This is life. If you dare to venture, you become a winner.

If you dare not and always hesitate and indecisive, you become a loser.

And you find many losers here in thsi forum. It is so obvious. It shows glaringly.

Wah, kopisai mother got gang bang by shit skins until kopisai luan gong wei. OK, me bad, for introducing shit skins to your mother.

No money how to go ahead and buy?

If you are a young man,use full use of your CPF to secure a HDB flat first - just for a start.

And work slowly to acquire other properties when you have sufficient funds....
