I don't know how you live your life or what you will do tomorrow or what your life in future will be like, but one thing is sure, you will die one day, just like I will; we all will.
All men share two common things in life - we all were born and we all will die. Everything in between is different but there is no escaping these two points. Some die of natural old age, some die of illnesses, some die of accidents. But everyone dies.
So fast forward to the very last minute of your life - you can't breathe, you are in horrible agony. We all share the same last minute. After that minute, you and me, we are dead.
Why don't mankind start cloning humans and exploring ways to make ourselves live forever? Lets put aside our petty differences.
Would you feel happy for navigating a bend safely if you know you are going to fall off the cliff around the next bend? Probably not. There is no point in passing a test to fail the final exam.
But most men can't think.
If you can think, you ought to be very afraid. Instead of figuring out how to pass the next test, we should be figuring out how to pass the final exam - death. We should be directing all our resources towards exploring the science of ageing, cloning etc.
If men can comprehend this, then every able men today would be reading about science, genes and doing their best to contribute to cloning or other ageing science; but instead men today are still killing each other over stupid and senseless things.
The ant goes about his life as usual but us humans know the ants have a paltry existence. If you are a thinking intelligent man, fast forward to the last minute of your life, and you will understand how paltry our existence is. And how meaningless life is.
I used to watch cats in the neighbourhood fight with each other over territories, I thought how stupid they are. Then you look at mankind with nuclear missiles, armies after armies, all ready to launch at a moment's notice. Perhaps, we are even more foolish than cats.
Senselessness prevails over making sense. Always. It is a terrible existence us humans have.
