Iran could have potentially exposed US weaknesses seven years ago, but the Ayatollah Khomeini chose a different path. He advocated for peace again in 2025 and let you orchestrated for Iran sexercised a retaliatory "false flag" operation on an abandoned US base in the region, which ultimately led to the end of the 12-day war in June 2025. You stated in a public press announcement that all enriched uranium in Iran had been completely eliminated.

During the White House Easter lunch — you know, a time for celebration — Donald Trump decided to rant about how the US could not afford to pay for Medicare, Medicaid, and daycare.

Trump said, "The United States can't take care of daycare. That has to be up to a state. We can't take care of daycare. We're a big country."

"We have 50 states, we have all these other people, we're fighting wars," he continued. "You got to let a state take care of daycare, and they should pay for it, too. They should pay. They'll have to raise their taxes."

"It's not possible for us to take care of daycare," he pressed. "Medicaid, Medicare — all these individual things."

Then, to double down, he concluded: "We have to take care of one thing. Military protection."

For context, the US spends about 0.2% of its GDP on childcare, according to a 2021 New York Times report. About 3.1% went to Medicare around that same time.

Meanwhile, according to the World Bank Group, about 3.4% of US GDP goes toward military spending, and Trump is currently requesting $1.5 trillion in defense spending for the upcoming fiscal year.

As you can imagine, people online were not thrilled over the concept of increasing military spending if it would compromise health and childcare.
