i always know that there are more problems between mudland and spore. even in army, my oc say that our greatest threat is mudland.

"Malaysia has always been a reliable provider of water to Singapore, but Malaysia has often used threats of cutting off the water supply to pressure Singapore politically. Seeking greater political independence and freedom from such pressures, Singapore has pursued a costly strategy of developing self-sufficiency of water sources."

I doubt there is any reason why Malaysia want to cut the water supply to Singapore.

For something I agree with Harry Lee is that, once they (Malaysia Government), truly cut off the supply with intention to hurt Singapore, by that action, it is an act of war already...

By this reason, SAF can deploy troops and Annex Johor Bahru.

Why would Malaysia give Singapore a reason for their Johor Bahru to be annexed and help Singapore grow in Landmass?

There are many ways for water productions in Singapore... the MIW millionaire ministers just have to think carefully on what are the available options.

War can be started by a slightest reason, any reason.

There is absolutely no reason for war, as it is always damaging to both economy, properties and lives... at the end, nobody wins. Co-existence peacefully, through fierce debates, and dramas between Political Leaders are better than War.

For all you know, it's a game played by Politicians to entertain their Serfs & Peons?

In the future, the Spore gov't will not be renewing the water agreement.

With fewer reasons for friction with Malaysia, many will ask if NS is really necessary:confused:

Since they the MIW have invested so much on Technology in SAF, might as well, recruit Geek Recruits to control the robots, and remote control planes, and ships...

2.5 years of NS is equivalent of 2.5 years of Jail time, at least the inmates in a real Jail have rest...

USA will not approve singapore invasion of malaysia for water.
Therefore without sole superpower support, we cannot win.

if that happen,
USA will debate the issue in congress, meanwhile sending water bottles to singapore, i think singaporean will not die because lack of water. no water for industry, no water to bath , yes, but ok to live. the best thing all FT will leave in doves.

Malaysia should go for arbitration or ICJ to get the appropriate price for its water sold to singapore, backdated to 1987.

Singapore should nego a new water agreement with MY, it would be far cheaper in the long run as even if they sell us raw water at 50sens per 1000 gal, it is far more cheaper then any kind of technology to get new water or sea water, Just because LKY is paranoid about My does not mean that the rest of us have to pay for it. With the cost of water so high in SG, why not secure a cheap and plentiful source of river water from them at a cost that both countries can agree to instead of wasting billions to make some well connected companies rich at our expanse.

I totally agree. Knowing how our govt system works, they spend million/billions in new technology to manufacture the water.
- bill residents appropriate amounts to cover the capital costs
- make it profitable
- sell to Temasick for a song
- Temasick sell to investors for obscene profits
- Investors increase price to recover investments + profits
- Residents get screwed even more
- The cycle repeat itself in other such scenarios
