Things i noticed:

The cheers that accompany key segments are not from the crowds, but pre-recorded speakers. Found out when i went to watch NDP rehearsal last time. The crowds don't cheer much.

The silly commentators keep stressing "he crowd is getting excited" "the president is well loved'.... but the images tell another story.

The contingent leader for St John's Ambulance Brigade is very hot!

i didn't catch it! she's hot? :(

This is the sign of a collapsing regime.....

Yes, frankly, I did watch the NDP telecast, NOT for the purpose of enjoying it
but especially to personally view the behaviour of the hundreds of invited men, women,
ah peks, ah laus, uncles, aunties, lau arm, not forgetting those newly-appointed citizens all collectively "aaahing", "ohhhing" and googling at the parachutists, helicopters and planes (hopefully not piloted by foreigners) soaring over the Marina.
I was saddened at the sight of the poor children performing before the ELITE RULING CLASS because it reminds me of peasants performing before their "Beloved" and "Dear" Leaders.
The sight of the physical condition of those Men & Women in White (MWIW) strutting into the venue and some of them being driven in gleaming cars, escorted by numerous outriders set me wondering. Don't the local police have important things to do like being on the roads looking out for reckless drivers and other criminals instead of choosing to stay in big numbers at the NDP. Are the lifes of our citizens not worth protecting. What are their priorities, may I ask?
Furthermore, the sight of all the bloated, ugly, out-of-shape MWIW, some still having the cheek to display their jet-black hair, inspite of all the wrinkles and eye-bags that could be seen on their faces. These people are truly over-fed at the many
RC, CCC functions and CC functions, etc, not forgetting that after the NDP, they would all be treated to a sumptous dinner with an array of all kind of food and duty-free expensive vintage wines, whiskies, brandies and all the stuff that the rich and famous indulges in. These leaders may haveconveniently become oblivious to the fact that outside the fencing of the Grand Istana, would be some poor folks huddled togather sharing a stick of cigarette, maybe a bottle of Ngo Kah Pee and munching Shandong Peanuts. These over-fed mortals, while tucking into all the delicious morsels must remember that there are hungry penniless "peasants" outside who would have nothing more to eat then a pack of IBUMIE
Then there was this segment on the "so-called bomb threat". It was so damned-stupid that any sane policeman, SCDF guy and responsible news-reader would be regretting for the rest of their lives for having taken a role in it.
I was infuriated by the manner in which our actual founder, Sang Nila Utama was portrayed. It was a mockery to the historical fact that HE is our actual FOUNDING FATHER of Singapore and not Raffles or LKY. The name of Sang Nila Utama has been removed from Singapore. There was a school along Aljunied Road named after Sang Nila Utama but today it is a camp where foreign Nepalese mercenaries, employed by the Government are housed. Schools have been named after leaders who are still living but the people who are connected with actual founding of Singapore are being conveniently forgotten. Those two stupid "jokers" who took the roles in the segment on Sang Nila Utama, should be reprimanded or bundled off to IMH for mental check-up.
Unlike, those specially invited to the NDP and who were each given a miserable bag of goodies, and all those who attended the Istana function (who may still be belching and in a drunken stupor), I honestly did not enjoy the NDP telecast.
