Off topic a bit. Just heard this year's hungry ghost festival is very 'hiong'. In fact it will be the most hiong in 60 years. All brothers here please take care and look after your children especially.

I believe you 100%. The HDB blocks a short distance away from my house, got more Void Deck Funeral than I have ever seen in 30 years of observing.

Sometimes got 3 funerals taking place simultaneously in the same Void Deck. More busy than Bangkok Night Market!!!!!

just recently my block downstairs got 3 funeral wake services going on side-by-side butt-to-butt.
1 taoist type, 1 christian type, n 1 buddhist type - christian type sandwiched in between.
the taoist type with the usual sai kong liam keng n chiang tong chiang.
the christian type very quiet one only when they sang "Amazing Grace".
the buddhist type with the usual buddhist charm.
best part is: all 3 processions moved out at the same time on the same Sunday.
