If Malaysia offers Sinkapore only a tiny area as its independent state, would Sinkapore accept? Same logic applies in the Middle East.
Israel wants it all ...it is never serious in wanting to forge peace with the Arabs.
The arabs have no qualms living in their own country too if not for US destruction of it.Israel has no issues with the Arabs. 20% of Israelis are Arabs and they are way better off being Israeli than they would be in some other Muslim country.
The majority of SG Malays realise that they are better off living in S'pore vs moving to Malaysia. There is no affirmative action in SG favouring the majority race, but special privileges are given to the Malays. The only thing stopping them from rising to greater heights is their own weakness. The arabs have no qualms living in their own country too if not for US destruction of it.
Those malays not happy under PAP left a long time ago.The majority of SG Malays realise that they are better off living in S'pore vs moving to Malaysia. There was no generous offer. The jewish settlements in West bank will remains making movement for Palestinians between cities impossible. It takes jews maybe 45 minutes to travel to Israel but up to 12 hours for palestinians just to visit relatives in another part of west bank.Israel gave Palestinian a very generous offer 20 years ago but Yasser Arafat turned it down and resorted to violence.
20 years could been used to develop the economy. Instead it time wasted on meaningless struggles.
If they went up north to become Malaysians, then you know they had no drive and willingness to work hard. Those malays not happy under PAP left a long time ago.
