Have you forgotten that the war started on 7 Oct 2023 when Hamas and other Palestinian militants launched a surprise attack on Israel? Up to 1,195 Israelis and foreign nationals (including 815 civilians) were killed. Another 251 were taken hostage with the goal of forcing Israel to release Palestinian prisoners. When dealing with serpents, the IDF knows it has to cut off the head in Gaza.

There are 7 million jews in israel. And 7 million Palestine in gaza, westbank and israel.
Its either a one state with equal rights which israel wont allow as many properties seized maybe reclaimed within Israel itself..
Or a two state which is now not very likely as separation between west bank and gaza is unfeasible.
The best is a three state solution wth Israel, gaza and west bank independent of each other.
