The Taiwanese guy says all Taiwanese that come to Singapore to work, do so for the money : his own personal monthly paycheck rose from Sg$1.5k (when working in Tw) to Sg$6k (now working in Sg as an expatriate).

it’s about right. taiwanese with technical or engineering degrees have been paid usd1.2k since i visited hsinchu in the early 90s. today i checked with my sources in hsinchu - no change. sg and pap are the best!
