The insignificant nobody me am glad that no matter how drunkard the neighbor was, he did not RESORT TO VIOLENCE...
In this era of society, more so to Millennials, dogs are treated more than pets, as dogs or other pets are treasured as sentient Beings, deserving of love, care and concern for the rather unconditional love that those pets had showed and proven their love to those whom loved and take care of them.
Noises are only COMMON in housing estates, regardless if HDB, Condos or Mansions, such as from jackhammering of floors at consistent new renovations, cars zooming past roads/expressways, lousy singers on their home karaoke sound systems, mahjong players, etc, to even pets moaning for their owners for being left alone for hours while they go to work....
It take tolerance, as some issues may be only for a time, and not for long term such as renovations, ultimately, renovations and construction will not last forever, or just a man to man talk to a neighbor over loud noises, NOT CONFROTATIONAL, but only peaceful sharing of issues that may resolve situations....
As for home pets that moans for their owners for being left alone by millennials, perhaps some enterprising citizen may considering offering a PAID service to such owners to keep their pets in their sanctuaries that are far from Human habitations by noise levels, at a fair price, close to the estates that they are operating or customers in every district in Singapore, so that millennials whom are often with high paying jobs whom keep pets but have to leave such pets at lonely homes, would not mind paying a few dollars for their upkeep, peace of mind and peace to neighbors during their working hours and collect them back when they return from work.....
