hi halsey.......some songs had their bans lifted but i haven't heard any of those songs played on our radio stations.
Some of the previously banned songs .....
1. Lucy in the sky with diamonds......beatles.
2. Mother's little helper......rolling stones
3. Puff the magic dragon.....PP and Mary.
4. Save me .....DDDM and Tich
5...many more but i cant recall at the moment....Yellow submarine i think was banned too.

I rarely listen to the radio & had stopped listening for 25 years..before that, from young..was a great fan of radio. I heard "Puff The Magic Dragon" once on the radio, when I pass by a shop once...Bob Dylan " Mr Tambourine Man"..but not all the entire verses. I really wonder, listen to all the Hip Hop, Rap & whatever songs these day....even the Koreans ones...listen to the lyrics..it makes banning " Puff", "Tambourine Man", "With A Little Help" or even more direct ones like "cocaine", " Star Fucker by Elton John, "Brown Sugar"...pale in comparison...if those "old f$#$$kers" of the Min Of Culture are still alive....they would have gone into convulsions...listening to today's songs..
btw.."Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"..was written by John Lennon, based on a drawing by son, who brought it home from school....it had nothing to do with LSD...anyway, back then..."long hair" is decadent culture..so was " bell bottom jeans"..
