Very hot and humid weather. Please introduce standing fan

Should be U-Save.

GSTV = GST voucher.
Last month all my water, gas and electricity within $100 after I cut off aircon, without any voucher effect.

I am thinking to buy a humidity sensor.
Good idea ?

Using a dehumidifier, a fan, and ice cubes together creates a highly efficient DIY cooling system for hot, humid rooms.

Why This Combination Works
  • Dehumidifier dries the air: Lower humidity helps your body sweat and cool down naturally.
  • Ice cubes absorb heat: Melting ice lowers the immediate air temperature around it.
  • Fan distributes relief: The fan blows the newly chilled, dry air directly onto you.

How to Set It Up
  1. Position the dehumidifier: Place it in a corner or away from you, as it blows out warm air while removing moisture.
  2. Prepare the ice: Fill a large bowl with ice cubes or frozen water bottles.
  3. Align the fan: Place the bowl of ice directly in front of the fan blades.
  4. Aim the breeze: Point the fan toward your seating or sleeping area for an instant wind-chill effect.
