URgent Advice Needed >> DDR3 RAM ........1066 / 1333mhz same as 1060 / 1333mhz ?

so as long as RAM is DDR3 sure can fit in the slot ?

difference in height of the RAM is okay ?

1066/1333mhz and 1060/1333mhz can mix and use with no issues ?

any ram faster than your old ram that is ddr3 , any height can fit in your motherboard.

so if your old ram is 1066mhz, any ram that is 1066mhz and faster can work.

mix and match yes, it will work.

and not recommended , but can work. just buy it, install and test it. if no problem, continue. if there is problem, replace your old ram with new one. but i do not expect any problem.

actually for me, upgrading ram is really not good anymore, an ssd will be much better. or better still buy a new computer, that will be what i do.

Agree with you on this. When you buy a computer equip it with all the RAM you will need. When you need more power or speed, buy a new PC.

aiyah.................very sorry.....................for starting this thread..............

No. Fans and power supply are not consumables. Change them only when they fail, then maybe the PC's internal protection circuitry will also kick in and shutdown the PC, if it is a fan.

just get 1600Mhz DDR3, this is the most common ram now, it will work on your computer.

hynix ram ok ?

yes, they all went to rigorous testing. but i would advise other, like samsung, toshiba or micron chips. hynix production values volume over quality.

toshiba fab values quality over volume. the other two in between.

also hynix chips most probably build in china. toshiba build in japan.
