Almost 30,000 kilograms of sand, enough to fill 115 bathtubs, has been carted to the Marina Bay waterfront to create the country's - and possibly Asia's - first -pop-up beach. The man-made beach, complete with palm trees, deck chairs, hammocks, a swimming pool and bar, is open to the public over the weekend.

Measuring 50 meters by 50 meters, equivalent to the size of two Olympic-size pools, it can hold up to 250 people. Entry will be on a first come first serve basis.

30,000 kilograms of sand to create the biggest kitty litter box in the world.are they making a place for tiongs to shit in?

You can provide all the sand that you want but you can't get the type of natural sea and breeze for the beach.

to be swarmed by shitskins soon. standing around and staring at camel toes and cleavages will be the sole sport.

Real beaches have sea waters. And its just beside it. Why didn't they make use of it?

WHY DID'NT THE MAKE USE OF IT?....

My place is called Pasir Ris Beach park and we have a beach.

But nobody is making use of the beach because the residents there knows that the water there is toxic..

Why ? ..Because the idiotic AVA allowed a horse stable ( a riding school for kids) to be located next to the Api Api river which drains into the sea. The excreta and urine from these horses will seep into the soil and be drained away by the nearby river into the sea.

This contaminates the water and makes the sea toxic. So you don't see any swimmers at this toxic Pasir Ris Beach for many years
