SINGAPORE — A 24-year-old student from the National University of Singapore (NUS) who was caught trespassing a female toilet at a residential college was arrested by the police on Saturday (March 7) morning.

The police, who were informed of the incident by the university’s campus security personnel, said that preliminary investigations revealed the student had allegedly entered the female toilet to set up hidden cameras disguised as smoke detectors.

In response to TODAY’s queries, an NUS spokesperson said that the student has been suspended with immediate effect and has been barred from entering all areas on campus.

The university’s campus security is also assisting the police with their investigation.

In an email sent to students from the College of Alice and Peter Tan that was seen by TODAY, students were informed that the police had found two spy cameras in female toilets located on the 12th floor of the college.

One camera was hidden inside the female toilet where the man was detained, while another camera was found inside another female toilet on the same floor, the police said.

In the email to students, NUS said that a sweep was conducted for all the toilets in the college and no similar devices were found.

The NUS spokesperson told TODAY that a thorough inspection of all female toilets on campus is ongoing. So far, no other suspicious devices have been detected.

The email to students stated that the trespasser was led in by a resident of the college.

NUS has reminded residents of the college to observe housing rules and not allow visitors to stay beyond the stipulated visiting hours, the spokesperson said.

TODAY understands that visiting hours are from 7am to 11pm.

The spokesperson also said that staff members at the college are reaching out to students affected by the incident to offer support and assistance.

“The university takes a very serious view of this matter. Disciplinary action will be taken against any student found to have breached the university’s rules and regulations.

“We also urge the NUS community to remain vigilant, and to immediately report any suspicious person or activity to campus security,” the spokesperson said.

Police investigations are ongoing.

If found guilty of criminal trespass, the student could be jailed for up to three months, fined up to S$1,500, or both.

If found guilty of voyeurism, he could be jailed for up to two years, fined, caned, or receive a combination of all three punishments.

to save on battery load it can detect heat and smell from removal of panties and turn on cam towards direction of undressing. and if there’s smoke it must be from overheating of motorized cam and zoom when too many chiobus remove panties at the same time.

The thrill of watching those whom u know doing it is very different from watching strangers on a porn site.
