Two people died and more than a dozen were hurt when a bus carrying more than fifty passengers from Henan province to Tianjin crashed into a motorway height-limit bar on Monday.
The roof of the bus was almost sliced off as the vehicle scraped under the bar, sending metal and glass flying.
It’s unclear what caused the bus to go into the lane, which is limited to vehicles less than 2.8 metres high.
The crash occurred at about midday, according to state-owned China Central Television.
Those injured were treated at two nearby hospitals.
Tianjin police are investigating.
