PAP Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew said that Public Transport operators are making $28 million every year from polytechnic students by denying them equal concessionary subsidies with their Junior College peers in his parliamentary reply last week.
Despite the PAP's youth wing wayang protest a few months ago, the main party refuses to listen and instead chose to cast a better light on the issue by saying the poly students are enjoying a 2% discount as compared to what they were previously paying before the fare adjustment.
