Question: You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, it's
raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three
people waiting for a bus:

An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
An old friend who once saved your life.
The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that there
could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once

actually used as part of a job application.

* You could pick up the old lady, because she is

going to die, and thus you should save her first;
* or you could take the old friend because he

once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to ! pay him back.
* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming
up with his answer. Guess what was his answer?

Note: Answer will be given later.

Give the car to your old friend who will save the old woman too.

And you stay behind with your perfect partner.

This is the ideal answer.

But the real practical answer is to rob the old woman (since she's dying) and make your old friend and the perfect partner bid for the ride. The perfect partner can bid in kind, i.e. sexual service.

How about this question?

Question: Interviewer: He ordered a cup of coffee for the candidate. Coffee arrived kept before the candidate, then he asked what is before you?

Candidate: Instantly replied "Tea"

He got selected.

Why?

Ask the friend to drive the old lady while you take the bus with the perfect partner.

What about another one?

Question: The interviewer asked the candidate "This is your last question of the interview. Please tell me the exact position of the center of this table."

Darn...I did not get the earlier one correct. I was thinking to look forward to the future...Drive the dream girl off to Happily Ever After kind of ending....

Ok, my attempt for second one....Assuming the coffee was ordered in the presence of both. By asking the obvious when the drink arrived, the candidate must be thinking that the interviewer wanted to hear something different. So say drink as long as it is not coffee lor... :)

The questions asked are tricky because the obvious answers although correct are not acceptable. The interviewer is looking for employees who think out of the box.

Okie...looks like this job is one kind of tough one for me! Give it a miss...

A clue - the answer lies in the question itself.

Another attempt to risk embarrassing myself again. What the heck...

Okie...The cup of tea was already there in the first place. The coffee that came later was kept. Of cos what remained on the table was the earlier cup of tea.

<Fingers-crossed....better be rite this time...> :D

Haha...the answer already given by Cass888 but I clarified it. Scroll up the other posts above.

Why not try this? Remember the answer is in the question itself.:D

Just point to any spot on the table and say this is the exact position of the centre of this table.

Since the interviewer said that was the last question - he will not ask you to clarify your answer.

Okie....must thicken my skin again to try this one no matter what. This one is short and with clue some more....

Candidate: "the exact position of the center of this table" .

If this time still cannot.....I really "keep mountain" liow....:)

*sigh* in the centre.
