Edit
Controversial PAP MP for Marine Parade GRC has been rapped for copying her ideas from an opposition manifesto without giving due credit.
In her latest post on her Facebook, Ms Tin (or ‘Denise He’?) ‘think’ that the elderly should be given public transport concession without any time limit:
“Been chatting with elderly residents in MacPherson. I think elderly should be given public transport concession WITHOUT time limit. Our elderly contributed to our society & we should recognize it. Especially since we’ve been promoting active aging!”
However, the idea has already been floated earlier by Workers Party in its election manifesto, Chapter 9, page 44, point 14
“Concession passes on public transport for the elderly should be extended to all operating hours. There should be more generous concessions given to senior citizens, and these should be funded by the government, not by public transport operators.”
Ms Tin did not bother to acknowledge WP’s suggestion even after it was pointed out to her by a netizen. Instead her Facebook page was filled with trolls ‘defending’ her. It is not known if these are genuine netizens or her ‘alter ego’ like ‘Denise He’ whose real identity remains a mystery.
Even as Ms Tin begins to salivate over her monthly $15,000 MP allowance, the police has commenced investigations into her alleged flouting of election laws on ‘Cooling off’ day.
It is not known if Ms Tin has been called up by the police for questioning. Ms Tin’s case is being handled by Investigating Officer Liew Shiow Mei of the Commercial Crime Division, contactable via 65573746.
