For they kind of money they are raking in, their total invisibility from the scene to defend their policies and staff of highly publicised incidents is regretable. Protected by the press (their names are not even mentioned, let alone their photographs) and their ministers who should have better things to do. Like whether the upper parts of hawker centres are cleaned.

In the case of the MDA, it is even worse - not only the CEO, even the minister was not fronted in a television discussion. And this, on a matter which has evoked public 'demonstrations'.

As in the case with ministers, highly paid servants are no more than mere expensive amplifiers of their masters voice - worse, their masters had to use their own voice.

Hand on heart, how many of these so-called CEOs of stat boards and other bodies can get themselves a decent job in the real private sector, not the GLCs?

All of them can get decent jobs for sure......but not in the same capacity (demote a couple of notches) and definitely not in the same pay league (minus a zero).....

They have more important things to do than waste time explaining complex policy matters to a bunch of clowns who don't have the intellect to understand what is going on.

Or is it a simple case of the clowns not even knowing what the ring master wants?

So the ministers are the ones being overpaid as they are doing the explaining to the bunch of clowns?
