Top 5 popiah stalls in Singapore

Qiji can also make the list?

It sounds surprising, but YES indeed Qiji serve good popiah. Not just the Funan outlet, evev the one at Tampines and Kovan also serve nice popiah.

Try it and you know what I mean.

Circuit Road hawker center also have hawkers hanging pictures of those endorsement of various kind like that Old Man, MP, Mediacorpse people etc. Once I see those endorsements, I avoid it altogether.

You should try the stall selling, wanton noodle with Nicole Seah endosement. Their shui jiao is very good, with fresh, reasonable size prawn.

Must try, no kidding.

is this the same hawker centre at circuit road with the chee kueh?

What are the non traditional ingredients used in the coronation poh pia?

Please advise when you return from your ban. Thanks.

according to this blog :

http://oysterdiaries.wordpress.com/2011/11/24/my-cosy-corner-popiah/

They stew julienned bang kuang and carrot for the filling. They also add bits of crunchy batter, raw onions, fried onions, raw beansprouts and boiled egg when assembling the popiah. The result is a sweet-savoury filling, texturally both crunchy (from the fried batter) and chewy because of the thin popiah skin.

an added attaractio n of eating at cozy corner is sometimes one may get to see of some singpaore's politicians, can star gaze, if one is into that sort of thing. as for me, it totally spoils my appetite
