spactacles for far sightedness??? i think at 71, the man is showing signs of dementia... spectacles usually represent blurred vision, myopia/ short-sightedness. if he wanted to suggest far sightedness, he should've used binoculars or telescope.

SINGAPORE - Dr Tony Tan said he was deeply disappointed by the jeers he had received at the nomination centre, earlier today.

He said he hoped Singaporeans would listen to all four presidential candidates.

He is disappointed by the jeering but had no problems with egregious acts which were a whole lot more destructive: the harassment, persecution and destruction of his political opponents and their families.

He wants Singaporeans to listen. But only to him and his PAP masters and buddies. He did this by shutting his opponents up and out through the abuse and misuse of state's resources and his Kangaroo Courts.

A genuine phony if ever there was one.
