17 years of age, juvenile court at best, no?

The PAP govt will probably make an example of them to warn the others, charge them for subversion or sedition etc.

And I bet all the pro-PAP, pro-establishment twits in here will take utmost glee in this unusual show of efficiency from the poodles. ;)

I hope someone starts a defence fund for these chaps. The jail and caning is serious and not appropriate for such a case. The Vandalism act is wide arching law and meath to cover things like stealing power cables which cuts electricity supplies etc. DPP must give sanction to proceed on this case. VK's first challenge.

I hope they don't use the Michael Fay argument which is wholly not relevant as in that case there so many instances of wanton and mindless damage to cars and property. I won't be surpassed that Michael Fay will be used a by a dingbat PAP MP.

This is more a case of peaceful dissent. They are making a statement.

I'll have Pastor Sun Ho from City Harvest Church get back to you. We need experts.

The reaction of the Lees will dictate what kind and degree of backlash the Lees will get. It is a test case for how their impending downfall will take place. If Lees want to see how Jihadists can look like, torture these boys and thousands more will grow with support from the world in every way. Lees are finished.

ah loon, like wat he did during ze layman bons saga, wil say ... dey did it wif their i's open ...

These 5 men are indeed COURAGEOUS. Lets give them a clap and nominate them for National Day Awards!

17 years old. Probation most likely sentence. But then when you are hurting PAP Lees................................

Unlikely. They dont want others to emulate these youngsters. DPP will press for deterrent sentence.

Five teenagers, arrested in connection with the high-rise vandalism at the rooftop of a Toa Payoh HDB block on Wednesday, were charged for the offence on Saturday.

The 17-year-old boys, who face charges of vandalism with common intention for the incident at Block 85A, Lorong 4 Toa Payoh, have been remanded for a week for further investigations at Tanglin Police Division. Goh Rong Liang, David William Graaskov, Chay Nam Shen, Boaz Koh Wen Jie and Reagan Tan Chang Zhi - all Singaporeans - were brought to the State Courts on Saturday morning after they were nabbed by the police on Friday - just two days after a report over the incident was lodged.

If convicted, the boys could each be jailed for up to three years or fined up to $2,000, and receive at least three strokes of the cane.
