Chinese have penetrated in US Science & Technology since WW2.
The current missile and nuke technologies wee famously stealed from the US.
Many famous Chinese scientists and technologists returned to China in 1950's and they helped China to test 1st nuke in 1964 and 1st ICBM in service in 1981.

Strange... then why do the Chinese want Russian airplanes and equipmemt? Just read the news last night on Bloomberg that Putin and XJP has signed a deal and China is buying the Russian S 400 missiles and SU 35 aircraft?
The purchase is part of alliance pack and business relation.

Chinese can make lots of their own missiles and planes already. But the Russian not only have ready stocks to supply the both sides of military allies needs to have same competible weapon systems to operate jointly against US.
Just like NATO sharing identical weapons.

I am not against China. I think it has come a long way in a very short time, but there are some deluded persons who think China can take over the world in the near future. The day USD is the key traded currency for anything in the world, Chinese will never be able to rise to. China has to tackle that first.

Why bother? Go invade south east Asia easier. At least got substantial domestic Chinese to assist. In Malaysia, one china drilling rig contractor was ordered by china central gomen not to proceed with their job as its in 'china territory'. They have until end of this week to decide whether to proceed or forgo the contract. And Malaysia was extracting oil from the area for 31 years.
