Read in today's TNP that 54% of football fans will not subscribe to mio TV EPL. Main reason is the technical glitches (which many had experienced during World Cup), followed by cost. They rather watch online, or at pubs/coffeeshops. On the other hand, Starhub loses only 19% of its customers to Singtel becos of EPL, much less than expected.

Spent about $400 million to get 46% of football subscribers, what a rotten deal. ;)

Dumb idiots who are wasting consumers' money

It's not too hard to discern if some "consultants" and "middleman" take away a few millions for negotiating the deal

Was JP Morgan involved? I bet some investment banks are involved in this deal.

Your maths' a bit off. Should be 56%.

I hope next time will be 10% watching or less .

Farking exploiters .

I want to subscribe leh. Then they tell me must play for ESPN this month?!?! Promotion over. So I say, ok I wait till August. Maybe in August I will get bored and start playing with my own balls and save $$ on watching football.
