TKPS Deaths - MOE COI?

Those were factual and objective.

Didn't we experience all the below?

1. MRT Congestion
2. Housing problem
3. Hospital beds shortage
4. Unemployment of locals
5. Increased suicide rate
6. Unhappiness of citizens
7. Road congestion
8. High ERP rates without easing traffic congestion
9. Bus crowdedness
10. National Service for locals, jobs for foreigners
11. PAP running out of idea how to promote economic growth but having to resort to vices such as gambling.
12. Increased social problems and integration due to high influx of cheap, unskilled and unqualified migrant laboour with their 3rd world social behaviour and lawlessness

That's not prejudging the pap!

hahaha...let others be the judge of your statement

School activities are under the jurisdiction of the MOE. The MOE is run by the PAP. The fact that students who were not medically fit enough to resist the force of rocks raining down upon them were put in harm's way in a risky area is a direct result of the policies of the PAP.

The PAP is therefore 100% responsible.

No prejudging involved. I'm just stating the facts.

1 & 2 can be answered using this map.

The government should therefore come up with a LAW barring all travel to these regions. This includes the State of California, the whole of NZ, the whole of Japan, Significant portions of China, most of the Western Coastal regions of South America.

3. Yes the government was extremely negligent for not adopting a ZERO risk approach towards the safety and health of its citizens.

4. Yes the students were not medically fit enough to resist the force imposed by rocks the size of cars rolling over them. For this the PAP must be held responsible. In future only those that can physically withstand the crushing weight of a 100 ton rock should be allowed to go on excusions.

5. The PAP is 100% responsible.

6. The most important lesson to be learned is that we must vote the PAP out in the next election to ensure that innocent Sinkie children are not killed by earthquakes in the future.

I fully support you on this matter Sam!! well done!

MOE is a govt Ministry. If the pap falls, MOE will still run. The PAP can come or go, MOE will still stand

The MOE will still stand but once the PAP is voted out, the policies of the MOE will change and they will no longer endorse such high risk activities. Our children will be kept 100% safe once the PAP is removed from the equation.

The pap getting voted out is certain. It's a matter of when. Maybe the policies will be totally changed or maybe not. Don't speculate

If policies are not going to change if the PAP is voted out, then what's the point of giving them the boot?

It's was the act of nature that killed those kids , let's move on .

It may have been an act of nature but it was the irresponsible policies of the PAP that put the children in harm's way in the first place. For this they should be made to pay a heavy price.

Anyone can be right. But let the COI decide

Read my post#29 carefully. Don't jump to conclusions

If I'm going to vote against the PAP, it's because I want the way the whole of Singapore is run to change. If you're telling me that dangerous policies such as sending kids to earthquake zones for needless activities will be retained, then what's the purpose of kicking those twits out?

Does pap have the courage to do the right thing and convene a COI?

I am not saying anything except that a COI be convened

Are you, like the pap, afraid that a COI will reveal the truths?

Anyone can be right. But let the COI decide

There is no need for a COI to decide when the facts are there for all to see. The PAP is 100% responsible without a shadow of doubt and the person who should fall on his sword is this guy :

When he took over MOE, he should have had the foresight to realise immediately that an earthquake in Sabah was imminent based upon past geological data and should have cancelled all Sabah trips and replaced with trips up Mount Faber instead.
