SINGAPORE - Upset that his neighbour was using the common corridor to do some packing, a 66-year-old man attacked him with a wooden chair.

For voluntarily causing hurt, Ang Lee Seng was on Tuesday (June 9) jailed for three weeks.

The court heard that on June 16, 2014, Mr Ong Wee Seng, 76, was packing items to be sold to the rag and bone man in the common corridor when Ang came out of his home next door and told Mr Ong not to do so.

During the heated argument that followed, Ang went into his house and returned with a wooden chair, which he used to hit Mr Ong three times across the face and chest.
