A thousand people in Singapore got to eat food prepared by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and top local hawkers for free in a cook-off Sunday night.

So they were happy, but at least one person wasn’t – a stall owner at Newton Food Centre, where the event was held.

Rosly Samad, stall owner of Siti Khadijah Seafood, told Yahoo! Singapore that the event caused him to suffer about 60 per cent loss in business on Sunday night, which he estimated to be S$1,000.

blah, blah, blah.
hmm, KPKB, Income Tax Dept will take note of his earnings?

Ramsay--F*** OFF!!!

I didn't know halal seafood had that large a following.

Just out of curiosity, what makes seafood halal? Is it the way it is killed or is it halal by default?
Is there a specific way of killing the fish or crustacean?

If you didnt realise all the dishes Ramsay cooked were CHINESE dishes. Not a single Malay or Indian.

So what is your point? Racism? Even if the dish had a malay one say Nasi lemak it wouldn't make a difference cos guy's food is seafood not Nasi lemak. Laksaboy is correct that guy's food doesn't have a large following and there are tons of seafood stalls there. Getting fucking sick of this bs complaints no malay or Indian this and that all the time.
