Ho Ching is correct. Now maybe all those immigrants citizenship be downgraded to PR.
While high-rises are being built or old roads are cleared to make way for new developments, locals often refuse these jobs, even when the work is specifically reserved for them. Many would rather remain unemployed than accept such labor; it is ultimately those driven by hunger and necessity who step in to take these positions.
