It's never too late, there's a light on for you downstairs in the HDB block.

Local travel writer Huang Xiaohong enjoys making friends while traveling. A few months ago, she opened a 24-hour shop called "Not Late" downstairs in a HDB block on Owen Road. The shop is stocked with art supplies and books, and members can come anytime to paint, read, or gather. She says that some people come here to find peace and quiet; and she is willing to be a friend who quietly listens to their stories.

About a 10-minute walk from Farrer Park MRT station, turn onto the relatively quiet Owen Road. On the ground floor of Block 46, there is a small shop called "Wanderlust" (Art.Cafe.Travel). Its large glass windows gently frame the greenery outside.

This is a shop that doesn't feel like a shop at all: the bookshelves are crammed with books on literature, travel, and self-reflection; paintings hang on the walls, some by artists from foreign countries; the air is filled with the aroma of tea, and easels and paints sit in the corners. It's so quiet that it doesn't feel like it's in the city; it's more like someone secretly dug a cave in a concrete jungle, allowing weary people to crawl in and catch their breath.

This place is open 24/7. And its owner, Huang Xiaohong, is a boss who doesn't act like a boss at all.
