why buy this? have u looked at the Cessna 208 Caravan? Its about half the price, and lower fuel burn. U Have to indicate what you are using it for and the typical range u will use.
i am thinking of buying one of these...:o

I was researching planes that can make it across the ditch from NZ to Sydney......
Why not look at planes with 2 engines? It might be more $$$ but is safer in case one of the engines develops problems.

If we worried about such things, powered flight would never have been invented.
Life is always a balance between risk and reward.
However, I need to do further research as there are legislated restrictions on single engined planes flying across large expanses of water.
