CCTV footage has emerged from China of a thief stealing a motorised scooter by pretending to be drunk.
The criminal faked intoxication in an attempt to evade the public's attention.
In the footage, captured in Guangxi Province in January, a man can be seen stumbling around a car park.
He makes several attempts to drag the scooter before getting it free.
According to local reports police are investigating what is believed to be a repeated incident.
