A man was caught on CCTV in Yishun stealing female underwear.

The incident happened on Jan. 14, at around 5:26pm.

A resident who spoke to Mothership on behalf of the victim said a total of five items of underwear were taken.

Took all the underwear​

According to CCTV footage sent to Mothership, the man, wearing a white long-sleeve T-shirt and pants, can be seen going up to a laundry rack at a staircase landing, heading straight for the underwear.

He can be seen grabbing all the underwear that was pinned on the rack.

He looked up a couple of times as he did so, appearing to check if the coast was clear.

Not the first time​

The resident said they do not recognise the man, but that this was the second time such a thing had happened.

The victim had previously found one of her pieces of underwear missing on Jan. 5, 2026.

Following that incident, they installed CCTV cameras on Jan. 13.

A day later, the most recent incident happened.

The incident has left the victim worried and cautious about what might happen in the neighbourhood.

She has since lodged a police report.

The police confirmed with Mothership that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
