Don't think Zheng ho is fully Moslem. Even he is a hui chink background but his knowledge abt Moslem is noting much and his temple is built more towards Taoism. He is more to Taoism. I remember one of his temple got praying to the shape of an onion which symbolise Moslem but is not a proper ritual.

It was han Chinese who built the temple yo honour cheng ho. He was originally from yunnan and was abducted by ming army to serve the emperor in Beijing when young.
