Ravi Menon scores a B in the 2011 ranking among central bankers, see this. His predecessor talent now-minister Heng Swee Keat scored a B as well during his term, see this. Right north of us, in the capital control obsessed Malaysia, Zeti Akhtar Aziz scores A, along with Philippines and Taiwan. Meanwhile, Thailand, the originator of SE Asian economic in 1997 is still ahead of us, scoring a B+.

Hence, Singapore stands side by side with Indonesia, for having the worst central bankers in SE Asia. Besides, on last July, MAS reported a mysterious lost of S$10.9 billion. No hard question asked by the PAP government. We are getting signs that our reserves may be in trouble.

our reserves might already vanished.
with a pap choosen president, we will never know.

Bernanke 's score would have been AAA++,if their rating can be considered, we can all eat shit too.....

Even if Tony Tan had lost, any queries on the reserves would have been ignored. Just look at the problem Ong Teng Cheong had in getting at the truth.

The only way Sporeans are going to find out the truth is when the PAP loses its majority. That can only happen during a GE or a revolution.

In SIngapore, Central bankers do not have the same level of independence that they have in the west. In the US for example, Bernanke can be arguably more powerful than Obama. The central bank sets policy independently of the Obama administration based on what it sees in its economic forecasts. In times of economic crisis, they may work together like now. But In S'pore, MAS is totally subjugated to MOF and policies are determined hand in hand. Therefore, the MAS chairman has to be a 100% PAP cocksucker which Ravi is. If you know Ravi from his RI days, you will know that even back than he was a 100% PAP diehard supporter, right into NS (in which he was so seow on they gave him sword winner), and that is how he got where he is right now. To get a B is generous already in my opinion. U can see high inflation caused by a high singapore dollar and other factors, but u see lower purchasing power for the average singaporeans with wage suppression. What kind of fuck policy is this? Coupled with the fact that IMF has admonished MAS before to stop playing currency options and making money like that. The acid test of how good the MAS as a central bank has been is to see if the average person in singapore's lot has improved economically and financially. If not, than the MAS and Ravi have a failing grade.

Nowadays the only laws that get enforced are the ones that favour Spore's elites. Otherwise it's label a civil case & up to you to Do-It-Yourself justice:rolleyes:
