The Corona virus situation in Singapore has tainted the native Singaporeans via New Citizens.
For the past 10 years, 250,000 new citizenship were given freely. Those people must have experienced some traumatic incidents, city locked down, marshall laws, foods shortages, faminess...etc in their home countries. Given the opportunity, they migrated to Singapore with ease, given new citizens and brought their mentality and culture Kiasuism along.
Fast forward, when Corona Virus hit our shores, who do you think will scramble panickingly and wiped out our groceries stores like nobody businesses? Not native Singaporeans!!! It mut be the new citizens and foreigners.
Singaporeans have live through many traumatic days and never in history have the native behaved in such shameful manners - not even the SARS or the N1H1 viruses which happened more than 10 years ago.
I suspect, those who raided the stores day and night, screamed at nurses and chased people away from their space are foreigners and new citizens.
Native Singaporeans will not do that, instead, true blue Singaporeans are likely the ones to show encouragement to the front line defense stuff, offered free drinks to SCDF and simply go about their daily life laughing at the behaviour of foreigners and new citizens
What to you think? Do not forget the dynamic of Singapore populations have changed and NATIVE SINGAPOREANS' image were heavily stained by NEW CITIZENS' culture. Singapore is short-changed for having this imported "Singaporeans" in our backyard and PAP will continue to blame native Singaporeans for "Singaporeans" bad behaviors and has always been so for many years.
