The Line Between Indecisiveness & Inconsideration

Why be civic to stupid people?

I just love walking right in between two people talking at an entrance or an exit, and when someone is hemming and hawing at a shelf, I just reach out and grab, and always he's smart enough to move his head so as not to get whacked. Short and simple.

Once on a very crowded bus, which was stopping at an interchange, a lady who was seated behind the scanner tapped her card. She kept her hand on the scanner for some reason (there was only one working scanner at the rear exit by the way). I was standing right at the exit just waiting to tap mine and step out, because everyone else was pressing behind to get out too. When the bus stopped, ho ho ho, she still hadn't moved her hand. I just stood there with my hand at the scanner. She said," I already tapped, you need to let me alight first." Ho ho ho, I didn't even acknowledge her, I just looked at the scanner. I could have been angry but she was just so stupid, I was actually laughing inside! Finally she moved her hand, maybe to get up, maybe to scold me, I don't know, the moment it was away, TAP, and I was out of there! Civic? Why bother?

Another time at an MRT station, when I was about to tap at the turnstile, some super duper kiasu joker reached out from behind me and tapped his first! Ho ho ho, what did I do? I tapped mine and walked through, but at a slow speed. Ho ho ho, he tried to press close to me but the turnstile closed nonetheless! Did I look back? Nah, why bother? Civic? Of course not, being kiasu doesn't always pay, ho ho ho.

Err fyi 123456787654321 turnstile gates will let you turn 2/3 of a turn everytime you tap a your travel card. It does not matter if you go fast or slow its those gantry gates that have those red barrers that has a time limit. Even then you must be walking very slow because the time limit is 1 min if memory serve me well unless mrt / lta have changed it. If you tap twice on those gates the sensor at the side will let 2 person pass unless you flash your hand over the sensor after you pass fooling the sensor thinking that the second person had pass too. :)

Oh sorry, in that case I meant gantry gates. Of course I walked slowly lar, who asked the guy behind me SO kiasu tapped his card when he wasn't in front of the gantry? Expect me to give way? Ho ho ho!

Can foresee in the future people reaching out to tap to force others to give way and then complain and complain if they don't, lol.
