Wow, Rocklea is seriously fucked.

Milton doesn't look as bad as they said in the News. I wonder if LDV was affected.

Only other thing I noticed is that some trees and lawn look a lot more lush than before.

Wonder how fast before the politicians start crying drought again.

I did my studies in Brisbane, and have a few Aussie friends there. Probably still know my way around there much better than Perth.

some dickheads at the wivenhoe dam decided to hold back the water at 106% of the dam's capacity just before the massive downpour begin. when it reaches 196%, they have to release the water and that happened on tues which is the time both ipswich and brisbane flooded. there is a committee commissioned to investigate and hopefuly, we can do a class action suit against this.

class action suit? i think alot of singaporeans have never heard of this before.

donation to the flood relief? heck, i just got the usual $1000 per head from centrelink. even those people whose houses are not affected by the flood but experienced electrical outage, also managed to get the same subsidy.

Good, you got your money.
I am sure the bureaucrats know what is going on, sometimes stopping them (eg 10% doubtful cases) will add inconvenience to whose who need help.

I will not be surprised if the abuses become more widespread, the govt need to take action, the free-loaders will be issued with the "Please explain". But under ALP, forget about it.

that is why you need to dob on these, before they are exempted from the flood levy as well.

Maybe I should do THE CHASER and try to claim the $1000, my suburb, Mt Lawley, WA.
