I am shocked by my lady boss' lady Japanese client. She used the word "Kimochi" when out with me at Tokyu Hands today.
The Japanese lady client is about my age. She arrived from Tokyo last week and according to my lady boss, she would be here for at least 6 months to a year. So my lady boss told me to be on my toes whenever I am with her.
This morning the Japanese lady came to our office for meeting with my lady boss and the project team, plus lunch.
After lunch, my lady boss asked me to accompany the Japanese lady client to Tokyu Hands at Orchard Central as she needed to get some Japanese product.
Then at Tokyu Hands, she was browsing at the Nishikawa pillows section. She felt them and started using the word "Kimochi" in the usual Japanese soft slow tone.
I was shocked. Or rather ALARMED!
I had always thought the word "Kimochi" is meant for private moments of joyful moaning exclamation during love making sessions.
I didn't know the word can also be used to describe touch feel pillow kind of comfort.
Or is it because my brain is corrupted with JAV???
Any Japanese language or cultural expert in this forum can explain?
