When I was young, the bell from the belfry ring at 6am for homily, for weddings, for funerals & on special church occasions, Christams, Easter & on NATIONAL DAY. In the past, the same bell, was to warn the people living around that area of danger. The church is still there, but the belry is modernized, & it is now electronically rung....seldom rung!

That was why I took an interest in the significant of the ringing of a bell...
