THE BIG LIE: “Rich People Create Jobs”

Re: Banned TED Talk: Nick Hanauer "Rich people don't create jobs"

I blame the banks cause the banks did not exercise its due diligence in assessing the financial health of the borrower,,also what about the toxic products they were selling? all those AAA rating BS? do not forget also,,the senior management and CEO got millions in payout etc etc..and in the USA the gahmen did not forced the banks to lend money,,,the banks did so on their own accord,,

the problem lies with the poor who sign on the dot on a contract which they know they never going to afford. the bankers are encourage by the government who buy votes by promising housing for the poor. you blame the banks, what about the poor who sign the contracts? they are not to blame?

Re: Banned TED Talk: Nick Hanauer "Rich people don't create jobs"

he changed the rules and laws, to help the poor. president bush tried to help the poor own a house. he was trying to buy votes from the poor and simulate the economy. exactly what the opposition of singapore want to do, help the poor.

in the past, the poor would NOT have been eligible to sign the contract. that was the way things always worked.

then someone changed the rules, and suddenly the poor were eligible for loans.

does this make sense to you?

Re: Banned TED Talk: Nick Hanauer "Rich people don't create jobs"

Did Clinton change the rules?? anyway, the banks did not exercise due diligence, the gahmen could have lowered the bar,,but the banks got rid of the bar so that more could get loans and the bankers get their big fat commissions..

That's what I used to think too until my idol Steve Jobs proved otherwise.

Steve is wrong.

Google's Android software is continuing to crush its competition, increasing its global market share to 79.3 percent in the second quarter from 69.1 percent in the same quarter last year, according to research firm IDC.

Apple's share of the market, meanwhile, slid from 16.6 percent in the second quarter of last year to 13.2 percent in the most recent quarter ending in June.

You're talking about a different issue altogether. What Steve said has got nothing to do with market share. It about supply creating demand and not the other way round.

The personal computing demand was created by Apple. So was the smart phone market.

The iOS vs Android comparison doesn't make sense anyway because Android is free to any smart phone manufacturer whereas Apple is selling a consumer product. Apple has never fought for market share. They have always concentrated on profitability. The sell ONE model of phone and that's it.

i concede you have found some exceptions to the rule. Sometimes the rich create jobs. but more often the consumers via demand, create jobs.

eh this is too unlike you Tony. please don't change the image of your tonychatfuckssinkie.
