<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->The Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council's reply last Sunday ('Lift CCTV had clear but partial view of suspect') to a resident's letter about a smoker lighting up in a lift surely requires further looking into.
The reply focused on how the closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, which have been installed since 2000, can capture clear images. While the images are clear, the real issue is that someone smoked illegally in a lift, and reportedly on several occasions.
Shouldn't the manager explain how the town council was going to take action against the errant smoker rather than spend time dwelling on the quality of the CCTV images? Steve Tan

Just goes to show where the priorities are for the TC's. They are more interested in gambling with the residents' money to score points with the MIW than their core business of looking after their stake holders' environment.

That smoker, I suspect, is none other than one of the pappies !!

Blur images and other crappy reasons are ways to help the pappy escape.

I had been to the kennel, seen the dogs/pappies at works, seen how dogs bite pappies and pappies bite dogs, been there, done it, seen it, and out of the kennel !!
