Tan Kin Lian and Tan Jee Say will split the opposition votes. Now that TKL has received his COE it's time to withdraw from PE graciously and endorse Tan Jee Say. This will unite the opposition votes.

Make this a TJS vs TT (PAP). TKL and TCB should withdraw from PE graciously.

Otherwise, it becomes a sure win for TT even though he is very likely to garner less than 50% votes.

This is very important because it is a way for Singaporeans (PAP and oppositions supporters) to tell the PAP governments that some of their current policies are flawed and by doing so we cast our votes for a unimportant position, as TJS is also qualified and eligible.

The biggest and strongest oppo party is the WP. They have keep quiet. What makes you think ALL oppo votes will go to TJS or TKL only? How you know who WP is supporting on the quiet?

I'd support a TT v. TKL contest, with TT winning. I'll vote for TT anyway. At least TKL has done something for minibond victims and a single candidate walkover is bad of course. TCB and TJS have done nuts. Especially TJS, I know many of you here think that he's the most anti-PAP and therefore vote for him. I don't vote against PAP. I vote for the country. The president is not supposed to be anti-PAP or pro-Opposition anyway. TJS is the worse choice among the lot. He had stood in GE and lost and within months want to stand for PE.

I won't vote for such an unprincipled opportunistic grasshopper. Same as I've said during GE for the likes of GMS and the gang of RP/NSP grasshoppers, yea, including the popular Nicole Seah. Fortunately none of them stood in my ward, otherwise I'd be forced to vote for PAP too.

Whether they want to withdraw, it is up to them and not up to you. They do not care about your personal objective.

This is not about electing the next "useless" President. This is a referendum on PAP.

For this unimportant position, I am sure that more voters (including the PAP voters) will not vote for TT, because the outcome does not matter.

I just hate to see another PAP puppet being elected. So in order for TT to lose, TJS + TCB + TKL must negotiate to make this a 2 way race. Otherwise, anything more than a 3-way race, TT will sure be elected.

What balls are you talking about? Vote against PAP means got balls? How about talking some brains? All four candidates have PAP connections. Some have objectives that are dubious, whether PAP or not. You're sunk and drown in your hatred against PAP. It takes balls to vote against PAP? It also takes balls to vote for PAP? It takes brains to decide a wise vote and balls to cast it, whether for or against PAP. My balls and brains say spoil vote the best! I won't be absent. I'll show up and spoil vote not afraid anyone see. My message is the system is wayang.
